ALTA HOUSE (by Lever Architecture)
Design for a couple who enjoy an outdoors lifestyle, Alta House is centered around the sublime mountain landscape. With direct views of the Teton Range, the volumes shift and open to reveal vistas and are solid where privacy is needed. Cor-ten siding with a custom profile stands up to the harsh climate with no maintenance, with durable timber siding used selectively to provide subtle contrast and soften the house. The white oak interior is warm and subdued, maintaining the emphasis on the Teton backdrop.
